I bet you didn't expect to find me back so soon.
I'm just kidding. We all know I forgot how to read and write and had to relearn everything from scratch. And that's why it took me so long to write a new post. And not because I got super busy and maybe a little lazy. Definitely not that.
Okay, so HI! Welcome back! It's been so long since I've updated my blog and I have SO MUCH to tell you all!
When I was growing up my mom liked to do this thing called Best and Worst. It was a game we played (and by game, I mean forced family fun) where we would go around the dinner table and my 3 brothers and I had to share the best thing that had happened to us since we'd last chatted and then follow that up with the worst. My favorite part of the game was always my turn where I would predictably announce that my worst was being forced to participate at all.
Apparently I was too cool for family bonding:

Well, since it's been sooooo long, I'd like to play a little round of best and worst and I'd love to hear yours in the comments below (or on my totally rad facebook page).

BEST: I QUIT MY JOB!
Yeah, you heard me right. I quit my job and accepted two part time positions in the publishing industry! You're looking at the new Marketing and Editorial Assistant at Sunrise Publishing and Wild Heart Books! I haven't got a clue what I'm doing but I LOVE it!
Of course I'll miss my work friends, but lucky for me they've been really good about staying in touch. ❤
Now if I could just get my office mate to stop whining at me all the time…

WORST: The city construction on our street recently flooded our basement with two inches of sewage water. It was a great time. Luckily only a handful of games were lost in the great poopy flood of 2022. The rest are living happily in our guest room until we can get our floors and carpets replaced.
Now it's YOUR turn. And you are not allowed to say your worst is being forced to participate!
Before I let you go, I wanted to share with you my new book covers. I'm SO excited about them and I can't wait to see the final product when they launch on Amazon in a few months (or sooner?)
HERE THEY ARE!!!!
Alright guys, love you! Here's a little snippet from the series I'm working on right now:
I saw it all in slow motion- my life, my job, flashing before my eyes like the freshly brewed coffee splattering across the air. Looks of concern birthed cries of alarm as a barrage of powdered donut holes catapulted through the crowd, landing in sugary puffs like atomic acts of war. There goes the design department, taken out by friendly fire.
Heaven help us all.
Of course this is how I would go out. I would forever be remembered as the girl who’d weaponized a coffee cart during her first company meeting. This would be my legacy. Written in creamer on the conference room floor.
