Looking for Penny Larke - CLOSED for applications
I wasn't trying to write a fan-fic about my boss. Really. Why would I? Milo is grouchy, cold, and rude. He's the polar opposite of a bookish boyfriend- well, except for the way he leans against his office doorframe, arms folded across his chest. Or the way he *almost* smiles when we get into an argument. Or the way he always seems to show up when I need him... But other than that, he's the worst.
And he would fire me in a heartbeat if he found out I was the author he'd been so determined to publish.
That's why Milo Brooks can never find out that I've been here all along while he was looking for Penny Larke.
I would love to be able to review this book on Goodreads, it doesn't show up there for some reason. The further I got in the story, the better it got. As you get to know Wendy, you understand her and sympathize with her. And then the ending..augh! I know who the author learned her cliffhangers from!
This book was everything! I loved it! I never knew how much I would enjoy Deco Punk. All the stories involved are fantastic, the character development is amazing, and I truly cannot wait until book number 2. If you’re looking for a mix of love, suspense, and a flapper era themed book, this is for you! Please do yourself a favor and read this book- YOU WON’T REGRET IT!
